Treatment Schedules at Clean Recovery Centers
At Clean Recovery Centers, we’re here to support you at every step of your recovery journey. We offer a range of care programs, including Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Each program provides a structured, supportive environment that fosters personal growth, accountability, and sustainable recovery.
In 2024, 6,631 individuals died with one or more prescription drugs in their system in Florida. These numbers reflect the ongoing impact of substance use disorders statewide and underscore the importance of timely, structured treatment.
While treatment plans and daily schedules vary by level of care, all programs combine evidence-based and holistic treatments, peer support, and activities focused on helping clients to build the skills needed for lasting change.
Below is an overview of the schedules and expectations for each treatment program.
Residential Treatment Schedule
Residential treatment provides a structured, supportive environment where clients can focus fully on their recovery while building healthy daily routines. The residential schedule promotes consistency, accountability, and overall health while allowing time for personal reflection and connection with peers.
Morning
Each day begins with breakfast, followed by morning programming from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where clients participate in therapeutic groups, educational sessions, and recovery-focused activities. After lunch and a personal break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, programming resumes from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Evening
Evenings continue recovery engagement and allow clients to attend Narcotics Anonymous (NA) or Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Night
Most residents are settled in their rooms by 9:00 PM. This helps establish healthy sleep habits that support long-term recovery.
PHP Schedule
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides a highly structured level of care to help individuals step down from residential treatment. This combination of structured clinical care and real-world practice supports lasting recovery and a successful stepdown into the next phase of treatment.
Programming begins around 9:00 AM each day and concludes at 4:00 PM. PHP includes a full schedule of therapeutic groups, clinical services, and recovery-focused activities.
The PHP schedule balances intensive treatment with opportunities for personal growth and daily living responsibilities, allowing time for recreation, grocery shopping, attending recovery meetings, and other activities that help clients develop healthy routines and independent living skills.

IOP Schedule
Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) offers a structured, supportive treatment experience that promotes accountability and sustainable recovery. Participants can attend sessions either in person or online, providing flexibility while maintaining consistent engagement in treatment. Clients meet either five days a week (Monday through Friday) or three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
No matter the day, the program meets from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Throughout the program, clients participate in therapeutic group sessions, skill-building activities, and recovery-focused discussions within a well-organized treatment framework.
To keep everyone accountable and support ongoing recovery, participants are also required to complete random weekly drug screenings as part of their treatment plan.
How Schedules Support Recovery
Structure is essential in recovery because it provides stability during times of significant change. A structured schedule offers routine, accountability, and purpose throughout the day, reducing idle time that can fuel cravings, isolation, or relapse. It also helps clients establish healthy routines for sleep, meals, therapy, physical wellness, and recovery activities.
As clients progress through treatment, structure teaches valuable life skills such as time management, responsibility, and follow-through, while creating opportunities to practice healthy decision-making in a supportive environment. By establishing consistent routines, structure supports positive feelings, making clients feel more confident and secure, and helping them maintain long-term recovery both during treatment and as they transition back to their daily routines.
