Florida Addiction Treatment Centers
Addiction is a sweeping and consistent trend across the state of Florida. In the Tampa area alone, a total of 351 overdose deaths were reported in 2024, and opioids continue to be the most dangerous substance in the state as a whole.
Those living with addiction on the Suncoast can feel like they’re trapped in a cycle, unable to get free of the substances that have put their life on hold. With the weight of the world holding them down, the first step may feel daunting. Clean Recovery Centers knows that everyone’s first step is different, and we want to meet you where you are. With a completely personalized program, we provide those suffering with an opportunity to get, live, and stay clean.
Why Choose Clean Recovery Centers?
Clean Recovery Centers uses a unique three-phase approach to treatment that is tailored to fit each client’s needs.
Phase one: Preparation
- Phase one is a medically supported, 24-hour residential program that allows clients to start their healing process and pave the way for the next part of their recovery journey
- Preparation consists of a Detox and Residential Treatment.
- Detox is supported through 24-hour medical care and emotional support.
- Residential 1 Treatment is a 24/7 live-in environment. Clients build skills that will support them through life after detoxification.
- Preparation consists of a Detox and Residential Treatment.
Phase two: Action
- Phase two is a transition of the client out of phase one by placing them in residential or non-residential treatment programs.
- During this phase, if the client is diagnosed with an underlying mental health condition, they receive treatment for this as well.
Phase three: Maintenance
- Phase three consists of putting into practice what has been learned, as well as the start of a transition out of full-time treatment.
- Two treatment tracks are possible for clients during this time:

Common Addictions We Treat at Clean
Alcoholism Treatment
Reliance on alcohol can be debilitating, as withdrawal symptoms may cause a client to keep drinking to keep the symptoms at bay. In the short term, alcohol use can cause headaches, muscle aches, nausea and vomiting, as well as blackouts. Prolonged and excessive use of alcohol can stunt brain development, cause liver disease, lead to cancer, and cause depression.
For alcohol addiction treatment, recovery is not a straight line. For many, addiction recovery requires effort and support; therefore, the first step in recovery is the willingness to try. This can be challenging, but if achieved, the next step is a detox that is supervised by a trained medical professional. Throughout the process, our clinicians support the client with kindness and empathy, creating a safe space for their journey to recovery.
Cocaine Addiction Treatment
Long-term effects of cocaine use can cause a breakdown of cartilage between your nostrils, kidney failure, psychosis, and heart disease. Those who take cocaine in large doses may experience erratic and violent behavior.
During the first four weeks of cocaine addiction treatment, clients will be monitored in a residential program with 24-hour support. The next several weeks will focus on both mental health and the client’s core beliefs to help them towards a balanced, clean lifestyle.
Benzodiazepine Addiction Treatment
Benzodiazepines can originally be prescribed by doctors to help a client through anxiety, insomnia, and alcohol withdrawal; however, using benzodiazepines daily can quickly become an addiction that the client may not know they are living with until they feel the effects of its withdrawal.
In treatment for benzodiazepine addiction, a detoxification period is monitored around the clock for a 24-hour period. Withdrawal symptoms for benzodiazepines can be unpleasant, and medical professionals are available for around-the-clock emotional and medical support. From detoxing, there is a transition to residential care, where the main focus is on individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
Fentanyl Addiction Treatment
Fentanyl has become the most popular opioid available in recent years due to its potency and accessibility. Those who are managing an addiction to fentanyl may not even realize they are taking it, as it is common for drug dealers to mix it with other potent opioids to produce a better “high.” However, even a small dosage of fentanyl can be dangerous and even fatal, and can cause harrowing mental and physical side effects.
Using a unique three-phase program, our licensed therapists and highly trained clinicians provide medical and emotional support during fentanyl addiction treatment. The first phase is detoxification, a 24-hour period of monitoring the client through the uncomfortable process of withdrawal. After detox, the client will receive individualized treatment that will help them process how their addiction started and prepare them for independent recovery.
Heroin Addiction Treatment
Heroin is an opioid that becomes highly addictive through prolonged use and tolerance to its effects. Heroin addiction can be hard to overcome, as the withdrawal symptoms are quick and debilitating and can lead to the client returning to use to cope. Although there are medications that can make withdrawal easier, each person is different, and the use of these medications should always be monitored by a medical professional.
The first stage of heroin addiction treatment is through a 24-hour detoxification period that is monitored with both medical and emotional support. Medication-assisted treatment is offered as well to help the client through their detox safely. At this time, the client will be monitored in a 24/7 live-in facility where they receive support through individual, group, and family therapy.
Meth Addiction Treatment
Meth addiction can cause changes to all aspects of life. Decreased motor and verbal functions, erratic behavior, violent outbursts, and paranoia are all results of meth affecting both memory and emotional regulation. On top of emotional and mental changes, physical changes caused by meth can take effect quickly after first use.
Treatment for meth addiction follows a progressive three-phase approach that allows clients to get the care they need while they heal and recover. These treatments include: a main focus on family, group, and individual therapy; a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week live-in environment; and a mental health path that accommodates the needs of those who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition during their stay.
Adderall Addiction Treatment
Adderall is often misused for its stimulating effects: to promote and improve focus or to stay awake and alert. However, an overuse of adderall may lead to tolerance of its effects and a constant need to increase the dose to achieve previous results. Adderall addiction may cause long-lasting issues such as changes to brain functions and serious heart problems.
In the treatment for adderall addiction, the client is provided a deeply personalized treatment plan fit to provide them support for both short term and long term recovery. This includes detox, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and dual diagnosis care that treats co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression.
Codeine Addiction Treatment
Although codeine use may begin through treatment of mild to moderate pain, continued use of codeine over an extended period of time may cause addiction, overdose, and possible long-term health conditions.
Treatment for codeine addiction includes a detox, personalized therapy, and an outpatient program that supports continued treatment while allowing the client the freedom to test coping strategies in their everyday life.
Oxycodone Addiction Treatment
Oxycodone is a commonly prescribed opioid for pain relief. Even if used as intended, it can cause reliance and addiction through physical tolerance. Continued use of oxycodone may create challenging withdrawal symptoms, intense cravings, and severe discomfort.
Coming off of oxycodone alone is dangerous, which is why oxycodone addiction treatment is focused on ensuring client safety through a structured recovery program. Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment to determine the most effective approach to recovery. For most, the first step is a fully supervised detox. After the client’s body is clear of withdrawal, the next focus is on rebuilding their life through individual, group, and family therapy. If an underlying mental health problem is found, treatment will be provided during this time as well.
Vicodin Addiction Treatment
Misuse of Vicodin can happen subtly, as consistent use may lead to increased tolerance and higher doses. As the addiction advances, clients begin to feel a loss of joy with things that used to make them happy. This, in turn, leads to increased Vicodin use to feel happy again.
Vicodin addiction treatment starts with clients being met where they are. Clients will receive support and assistance through a unique three-step phase in their recovery journey. This includes detox, intensive therapy, and long-term strategies.
Xanax Addiction Treatment
Xanax is often prescribed as a treatment for anxiety and panic disorders to create a sense of calm through the nervous system. However, addiction can happen easily, and even taking xanax as prescribed can cause a physical dependence. Withdrawing suddenly and without support can cause dangerous outcomes such as seizures and psychosis.
Treatment for xanax addiction is a step-by-step journey that provides a safe and structured support through recovery. A dedicated team of medical professionals is there to support clients through healing on a physical, emotional, and mental level.
