Currently, there are over 24 million Americans who struggle with addiction and substance-use disorder. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMSHA), only 2.5 million people who suffer from addiction or substance-use disorder receive the treatment they need. This means that of the 24 million people in America who suffer with substance-use disorder, only 10% of them receive help.
